What we collect

When you click a link from us, we record that you visited the page, what coverage options you looked at, and how long you spent reviewing them. This helps us know when to follow up, and lets us prepare for our conversation with you.

We do not collect your browsing history outside of our pricing page.

Why we contact you

Under Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), we may send you commercial electronic messages about extended warranty coverage because you are an existing customer or prospect of Metro Ford. We rely on the implied-consent basis for warranty-period communications.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message, clicking unsubscribe in any email, or contacting us directly at (403) 555-0182 or finance@metroford.ca.

How we protect your data

Your data is stored on secure infrastructure with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to Metro Ford's authorized staff and our technology service providers under written Data Processing Agreement.

Your rights under PIPEDA

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to request corrections, and to request deletion. Email finance@metroford.ca with your request. We will respond within 30 days as required by PIPEDA.
